THE STORY (OR AT LEAST THE VERSION WE REMEMBER)
Tipsy Tide started with a pelican, a sunset, and someone's second mai tai talking a little too confidently about starting a clothing brand.
Turns out, that idea stuck around longer than the buzz did.
We make coastal apparel for people who take the beach seriously and everything else... less so. Retro surf energy, beach bar humor, and just enough sarcasm to survive small talk at the marina. If you've ever felt personally victimized by a "Live Laugh Love" sign, or believe flip-flops count as business casual, you're in the right place.
Every design starts the same way — something that made us laugh in a group chat, usually beach-bar-adjacent, occasionally dockside-adjacent, always clean enough to wear around your in-laws (mostly).
No harsh language. No politics. No drama. Just good vibes, great prints, and the kind of humor that gets you a nod from a stranger at happy hour.
